My first hardcopy DJ release, this is a 1 hour DJ mix CD in the typical style of The Sound. Alot of mashups, up to 3 tracks falling over each other at a time, familiar classics over the latest electro bangers. Only a limited amount are available and they are not for sale.

I'm playing The Assembly on 23 April, also playing will be laptop rockers LAN performing live electro bangers. Not to be missed!!

I decided to finally remix this track as it's been something I wanted to do ever since I started doing what I do. It brings back childhood memories of discovering how to record onto tapes from the radio and then listening to it over again on my walkman on those long trips to my grandparents when mom and dad were too busy at work to look after me. A few decades later and this song is still with me, in spite of being all chopped up with a tad bit too much distortion and some weird haunting pan flute... See what happens when you leave kids alone too long?

Guys, this is a bootleg. And it's just for fun and a tribute to an all time classic. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Crack In The Wall

Apologies for the lack of posts recently, it's been a festive holiday season with sun-filled days on the beach, visiting friends and family and travelling the country side with my better half, and to be quite honest, the last thing on my mind was sitting infront of a computer screen.

To start off the new year here is a fun party banger remix of Haezer's Crack In The Wall. Haezer's got some big stuff planned this year and I'd like to wish him all the best of luck!

November has been a quiet month on the production side, due to live shows, rehearsals, and a crushing workload at the office. New material, including remixes, mixtapes and own productions, is in the pipeline and will be receiving the necessary attention it deserves.

In the meantime, here's a "golden oldie", one of the first remixes I worked on for a great band and personal friends of mine, AKing. This remix is a bootleg (parts ripped directly from their Dutch Courage audio CD), but was later endorsed by the band and made available to the public for free. Please enjoy!

Friday was another amazing night at The Assembly! I deejayed the 10-12 slot of the Dance Till Dawn Discotheque party to a really amazing crowd. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth to say hi or give me the thumbs up.

Desmond and the Tutus are an awesome indie rock'n'roll band. They're all about fun. Their myspace site says it all: You will have fun or else you will die. I can't wait to meet these guys!!

I'll be DJing the Cape Town leg of their tour at Mercury Live on Aug 28 with CoDeC, and Klein Libertas Theatre in Stellenbosch on Aug 29 with Richard The Third.
